Build a calm base
Cream, sand and warm whites are easy to combine. Choose a base that fits the floor and larger pieces of furniture, then vary the light shades slightly for depth.
Repeat colors and textures
Bring sage into a cushion, vase or cup, leaving neutral space in between. Repeat wood, ceramics or woven textures in a few places. Try removing an object before adding another; a thoughtful selection often creates the calmest result.
